why does the pure cry
and the wicked smile
why am i so full with pain
and the wicked filled with joy
time after time the wicked win
and the pure loses some more
why does the pure struggle
while the wicked flow by
with out a tear to their eyes
i ask why me, why me
i don't have a wicked bone in my body
am not the purest of the pure
